President’s Day Holiday on Monday (what will I do Monday night with no Council meeting or worksession?).   All that’s on my plate are meetings of the boards for which I am the liaison: Library Board Tuesday and Historic Preservation Commission Thursday.

Friday and Saturday, Mayor Mary Rossing and I head to a League of Minnesota Cities conference for newly elected officials.   I’m not very patient with these “how to”  or “what you need to know” sorts of sessions (usually faster and easier to figure it out myself, I find), but I am looking forward to meeting other cities’ new council members to start building that network.
