My green roof continues to generate interest which continues to surprise me since the project got started almost accidentally (read the earlier posts: Green roof, updated, More about the green roof, Building a green roof, Part 2, and Building a green roof).  The Roof is now starting its second full growing season and it continues to surprise and delight me:

There is not much new to report – no new plants added yet this year.  The sedum is creeping and I expect the entire roof surface to be covered by the end of the summer.
