Talking to Kari Nelson & Kevin Dahle

One of the unexpected side effects of elected office is that I keep finding myself in print and on-line where I didn’t quite expect to see myself.

But, as you can see,  I did attend the League of Women Voters event to thank elected officials on Friday the 13th.   I told Marcia Walters, one of the organizers, that it was too soon to thank me since I hadn’t finished thanking the voters who elected me.   I especially enjoyed being able to talk to non-City Council elected officials – school board members, state senator, county representative.   We should try to do it more often.
